Fish when the water is clear

Algae bloom and wind are factors that affect the clarity of the water.

On-shore wind in Limfjorden:
During on-shore wind you will find that many of the fishing spots will have very unclear water. Although many of the trout's prey swirls up, and the trout become less shy, the conditions for catching fish are not optimal.

Fishing in clear water:
When the water is very clear, the fish are shy, and they usually stay in deeper water. The optimal conditions are usually in the period when the water is clearing up. It is therefore worth paying attention to wind directions and choosing a spot accordingly.
