The seatrouts often swim around in shoals and the best strategy will often be to cover a lot of water until the fish are located.

Concentrate the effort where there are small variations, such as the end of seaweed and eelgrass stands, indentations in an otherwise shallow area, small peaks, reefs, and the like. If you do not catch fish within half an hour, give the place a short break and try again. If you still do not catch anything, consider switching to another spot.
